In July 2014, it became an SME bank, and continued working with the same client niche and expanding its operations to the departments of Santa Cruz and La Paz.

Since it launched its activities, Banco Pyme de la Comunidad has offered loans through the individual methodology. The bank runs a network of 14 branches (2017). Most clients are small and medium-sized producers and service providers.
